Going back to the times of cement flooring and greenery of our grandparents' days, we present a renovation that reminisce on the nostalgic past...
The main theme of the renovation is "green spaces". The interior of the house is decked with plants to add warmth and a calm vibe to the whole place!
Solid warm coloured wood furnitures adorn the living spaces,
adding to the nostalgic charm and rustic feel of the living room
RESIDENTIAL
The New York Loft
The "New York Loft" look harked back from the 1960s, where artists and performers in search for cheap rent, converted industrial spaces into residential house. Red bricks, black metal exposed concrete and exposed electric piping are the signature of this style!
We re-created this theme in our renovation, and added our own personal touch to it. By putting refined materials and raw textures side by side, the design is further elevated.
The Mood
Yellow filament LED light bulbs
create the warm mood to the house
Brutalism inspired geometric concrete shapes formed with cement and an artisan touch. Brick walls segregate the spaces for different functions
Weathered look redwood floors add to the elegant yet rustic feel to the whole design
